A zesty profile

No matter how far we might stray from it, home will always be an important anchor for all of us. Named after an oak tree that is believed to have stood in Hartford, Conn. from the 12th century until the 1850s. Foundation Cigar Company added to this line to bridge the profile gap that was created between their original CT Shade and CT Broadleaf Maduro Charter Oak lines. Unlike both of the previous lines, this cigar does not use Connecticut grown Habano tobacco as the company’s supply was not enough to sustain a constant production. Even though this is true, the new owner Nick Melillo, has dubbed it as a medium-bodied, spicy blend that is worthy to share the Charter Oak name.

A gorgeous Ecuadorian Habano wrapper encases a blend of Nicaraguan binder and fillers to create a perfectly medium-bodied profile that engulfs the senses with notes of cedar, a blend of red, white and black pepper, nutmeg, clove, and finished with a natural sweetness to round it out. This cigar is sure to become one of your go-to cigars as not only a fine tasting cigar but also a very wallet friendly option. This cigar is sure to impress over and over again.
