The Charter Oak from Foundation Cigar Company features tobaccos from the Connecticut River Valley which is located in the home state of owner Nicholas Melillo. The name comes from a historical tree in which Native Americans would congregate and grow their own tobacco. The Charter Oak Shade features a Connecticut Shade wrapper, Sumatra binder, and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. These medium-bodied smokes offer a great balance of flavors and strength while maintaining a nice and even burn throughout the cigar.
