Every great cigar tells a story—ours begins with a passion for fermentation, a deep respect for craftsmanship, and a tribute to our heritage.

For our founder, Nick Ambeliotis, it all started with a lifelong fascination with fermentation, honed through years of working with artisan bread, wine, and cheese. That same passion eventually led him to tobacco, another naturally fermented product rich with history and tradition.

This discovery sparked the creation of the Kapnós Lounge—a space where cigar enthusiasts could gather, share stories, and enjoy a carefully curated selection of premium cigars.

But the journey didn’t stop there. Inspired by the connections forged in the lounge and driven by his Mediterranean heritage, Nick set out to create something truly his own.

Mediterra Cigars was born from that vision—a bespoke line of hand-rolled cigars, crafted from the finest Nicaraguan tobacco, aged through a meticulous fermentation process.
