Dunbarton Tobacco Sobremesa Solita Red 6 1/4x 46

When Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust debuted in 2015, the original Sobremesa blend—then simply named Sobremesa—was the first line the company released. It is composed of an Ecuadorian habano wrapper covering a Mexican negro binder and filler tobaccos sourced from Condega, Estelí and Pueblo Nuevo, Nicaragua as well as broadleaf from Pennsylvania. In 2019, the company added an extension named Sobremesa Brûlée, followed by the Sobremesa Brûlée Blue in 2020 and the Sobremesa Brûlée Blue Wagashi in 2023.

In November 2024, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust announced it was adding yet another variant of the Sobremesa Solita to the company’s lineup. Named Sobremesa Solita Red, the 6 1/4 x 46 grand corona is described as a bolder and stronger varietal of the original seven-tobacco core recipe. The blend is made up of a dark rosado grade one Ecuadorian habano wrapper, a Mexican San Andrés Negro binder, and a filler that includes four varietals of Nicaraguan tobacco and a filler from Pennsylvania.
