Le Bijou continues the Garcia’s tradition of honoring their fathers. The name Le Bijou is French for “the jewel,” and 1922 represents the year Jose “Pepin” Garcia’s father was born. The My Father Le Bijou 1922 100 Años Limited Edition honors the 100th year of the birth of Jose “Pepin” Garcia’s father. The My Father Le Bijou 1922 100 Anos Limited Edition 2022’s are available in two limited-edition line extensions to the core Le Bijou 1922 line. The blend is different from the core Le Bijou 1922 line, and features a dark “Oscuro Oscuro” wrapper over all-Nicaraguan core grown on the Garcia family farms. These intense cigars feature a stellar blend that is rich and full-bodied with lots of pepper and spice. The new cigars have an all-Nicaraguan blend with an Ecuadoran Habano double Oscuro wrapper, a dark Colorado Maduro which encase aged Nicaraguan fillers and binder. The cigar produces rich maduro flavors of chocolate and earth that coat the mouth, and as always, due to the Garcia’s Cuban heritage, the construction of these cigars is outstanding.
