Rojas Bluebonnets Robusto is another Noel Rojas creation with Nicaraguan and Ecuadoran tobacco – all corojo filler, binder and a light sandpaper feel wrapper with hardly a seam or vein in plain sight. The primary band is a gold on black oval with the Rojas logo. The secondary is a super thin blue band stating “Bluebonnets.” Being a longtime fan of Punch Rare Corojo I had to give this cigar a try.
Cedar, earth, light nuttiness – walnuts & hazelnuts, bread, cocoa, coffee, creamy vanilla & caramel notes, and spice/pepper. There is a fragrant sweetness to this cigar. It’s sugary sweet like frosting on a cake. The bread notes even hint of King’s Hawaiian Roll sweetness.
